We all know how important swimming is as a life skill. However, we appreciate that a typical swimming pool environment can be off-putting for some. We want to offer some specialised swimming sessions that create an environment with far less sensory stimulation than during our typical general swimming sessions. The changing facilities will not have any music playing, where natural light permits we will keep fluorescent lighting turned off. Our lifeguards and staff members won’t use whistles to communicate. The session is open to whole families and carers swim for free (when accompanying someone who requires a carer). We have limited the number of people to 40 for this session, which will run from 8.30-9.30am. The evening session will run from 6.00pm to 7.00pm or 6.30pm to 7.30pm. We will have our Village changing room open for this event. Please note there is only 1 disabled changing room within the facility and 3 family changing cubicles within the village changing room and plenty of large changing cubicles on poolside.

General swim session 2026. Please have a copy of the confirmation email on your phone or a printout to hand.
Once booked you can turn up at any time during this session.
We have changing cubicles, showers and toilets on poolside but would continue to advise you to arrive swim ready and where possible not need to use the facilities.
This session runs from 4.00pm until 6.00pm Sunday.
Please note that all tickets are non refundable and non tranferable. Every person wanting to enter the facility needs to have a ticket-there is no discount available for spectators.
Visitors aged under 11 years old fall under our Safe Swim Policy, which can be found here. Please check this carefully as we dont want to have dissapointed customers not able to swim should they not be on the correct ratios.
